Ageing 10 to 20 years
Visual aspect: opaque, a very deep colour.
Nose: very fruity aromas, blackcurrant, blackberries, mild spices.
Palate: pure on the first taste, development on perceptible, supple tannin. Lovely structure and persistence.
Match with food: slowly-roasted lamb shanks; leg of venison.
Comments: this wine has great potential.

Ageing 8 to 12 years
Visual aspect: a black cherry hue.
Nose: Aromas of black fruits and truffle.
Palate: concentrated, lovely body, powerful and massive; it slightly dries the palate. A stylish wine, with woodiness well incorporated?
Match with food: Tournedos Rossini, pigeon.
Comments: A stylish wine. The woodiness is well balanced overall.
